I'm very excited to announce that TRUTH.BE.TOLD will be hitting the spring market scene again - this time south of the river at the new Greville Village Market!
Located in the Grattan Gardens on Greville Street, Prahran , the Greville Village Markets are taking place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of September and October.
We will be there with a whole bunch of new paper goodness on:
Sunday 15th September
Sunday 6th October
Sunday 20th October
10am - 5pm
Hope to see you there!
And for a little more about the market:
“Inspired by an 1890s image of a young family promenading in the former sprawling lush green Greville Botanical Gardens, the market was developed to foster an organic sense of community within a village that is not only building a strong design reputation but also a reputation for a pace of life that’s more leisurely than lickety-split,” said Oskar Cebergs, Marketing Director of the Chapel Street Precinct.
The open air market includes a handpicked group of terribly creative folk and emerging designers all with a big flair and passion for design. There will be mini DIY workshops to capture the imagination, resident Greville Village Market DJ to create the vibe and collaborative design ventures to encourage cultural trade and communal interaction.
Just some of the design names and collaborations on show include Sawdust Bureau, Windsor Workshop, Maverick Laces, Wootten, Hanbi , Jam Square Style, Musings from the Moon, Slouch, Takeawei, The Naturalist, Lime drop and Mi Goals - and of course us!
Market visitors will also have much more than shopping to enjoy. The spring schedule is filled with creative workshops such as cork planters.aking your own piñata and up-cycling ideas like succulent
With an aim to inspire creative thinking and action, the Greville Village Market is also giving away “instant grants” to anyone with a creative project thought up on the spot.
